What is nationality, and why is it important?

Nationality is a prerequisite to full citizenship in America, and the world. Governments make it a prerequisite to citizenship because nationality instills quality and character into the individual. The quality and character of a nation arises from its historical continuity, accomplishments, culture, and divine principles. As a result, Nationality creates a spirit of allegiance to one another that cannot be obtained with badges of slavery which denote inferiority, hate, suspicion, criminality, and lack. Free National Names are how true American Citizens are known, respected, and trusted in society.

According to all true and divine records of the human race there is no negro, black, or colored race attached to the human family…”

The reality of why (legally), BLACK LIVES [don’t] MATTER, is because the terms: Negro/ Black/ Colored/ African American are all synonymous in the American legal system. They are relics, badges, and incidents of slavery, intended to mark a people as less-than-human so that the law of nations cannot protect that people. Instead, Black people can be treated ambiguously, under a customary law which says: “African American means a slave, or a civilly dead person”. This explains the inconsistent application of justice that African Americans experience. Other minorities do not experience these same inconsistencies because they have a nationality.

In this era of time, these marks of slavery allow the citizens to treat Blacks according to their customary law – while we unwittingly think we have civil rights.

The good news is:

If you and your family were marked with these badges and enslaved; – then you are most likely of Moorish descent.
The National designation of a “Moor” or “”Moorish”, is an umbrella term. It comprises many African tribes. All the socalled “African Americans” are of Moorish descent. This is proven by the Negro Law of 1740 (shown above). The term Negro is limited to “the ancient Berbers and their descendants”. However, we see the Dictionary of Races confirms that “Berbers” are the main Moorish group!
Rest assured: “What your ancient forefathers were, you are today without doubt or contradiction“
Because the world recognizes: “There is no one who is able to change man from the descendant nature of his forefathers; unless his power extends beyond the great universal Creator Allah Himself…“
The Moorish Science Temple of America (MSTA) is an Islamic religious society organized for the purpose of returning, transmitting, and preserving the Moorish nationality of its members.

This is why Act 6 of the MSTA Divine Constitution & Bylaws mandates that “all members must proclaim their nationality“. Membership is a form of legal protection that restores you to the family of nations. This starts with returning your Moorish tribal name(s) (EL and BEY).

Therefore, MSTA membership eligibility is exclusively reserved for the descendants of Moors, and those Asiatic nations whom confederated with them to found the Moroccan Empire (including: Egyptians, Hindu’s of India, Arabians, Turks, Mexicans of North America, Brazilians, Argentinians and Chileans in South America; Colombians, Nicaraguans, and the natives of San Salvador in Central America, etc).

WE NEED A NATIONALITY BECAUSE:

Moorish nationality secures us full political and civil rights by operation of law. The terms: Negro/ African American mean one who is civilly dead in the eyes of the law. Why don’t BLACK LIVES MATTER? — What is already legally dead cannot be harmed or killed. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
Reclaiming our Moorish nationality puts us in compliance with the Constitutional Standard of Law. The 3/5th’s clause in Article I of the Constitution has never been changed. It was adopted to discount “Negro’s” as full human beings for the purpose of representation in this government. But it was only effective because there is no Negro race attached to the human family. Moorish nationality puts us on equal footing with all true citizens.
The term African American is still legally equivalent to “Black/Negro”. That is why “Black / African American” is the only racial category legally defined as NOT BEING an “original people”. See federal form SF-181. Fortunately, under United States Federal law, racial designations may be changed at will. You may correct your status on the 2020 United States Census (held every 10 years).
Nationality ties us to our forefathers heritage, culture, land, and historical contributions to world progress. It provides a historical basis for collaboration among its members that is based upon moral, spiritual, social and economic expectations — otherwise known as “free national standards“.
Nationality creates a “psychological glue” that binds a people to sentiments of mutual esteem, respect and affection. It enacts a positive form of “group-think” among bearers that becomes a competitive force leading them to seek and promote each others happiness and prosperity. In other words, you become a team. All other national groups know and practice this, because racism is a team sport.
Nationality determines our political status in this government when we use it as a basis for economic and political collaboration. Claiming our nationality puts us in harmony with the divine creed and principles of our forefathers, that will in part cause us to become law-abiding citizens.

Nationality determines our political status in the government in which we live.
The law recognizes the quality or character of an individual only arises from him or her having a nationality.
Therefore, whenever we see “nationality”, let us think: NATIONALITY = POLITICAL STATUS

What is political status? Why is it important to have full political status?

According to the legal definition of STATUS from Blacks Law Dictionary:

The general law does not apply the same to everyone.
The term STATUS is primarily applied to people who have a special circumstance or condition that prevents the general law (i.e., like the Constitution) from applying to them in the same way it applies to ordinary people.
A STATUS is defined as the rights and duties you possess, or, fail to possess as a citizen.
Therefore, wherever we see the term STATUS, let us think: STATUS = RIGHTS and DUTIES.

What are political rights and why do we need them?

According to the legal definition of POLITICAL RIGHTS from Blacks Law Dictionary:

Political rights allow you to form or administer the government. This is because the US Constitution guarantees each state has a REPUBLICAN form of government. This simply means you are supposed to be forming and administering the government by telling your representatives what to do.
Therefore, wherever we see the term POLITICAL RIGHTS, let us think: POLITICAL RIGHTS = RIGHTS TO FORM OR ADMINISTER GOVERNMENT TO OUR OWN BENEFIT

Putting it all together:

NATIONALITY = POLITICAL STATUS

NATIONALITY IS THERAPY FOR POST TRAUMATIC SLAVERY

Prophet Noble Drew Ali stated in our Questionnaire, being oneself has an uplifting quality and what the Holy Prophet was doing was re-establishing our historical continuity.

An oppressed group having the ability to define its own ideology and culture represents primary resistance. The God-given right to define one’s own reality and place in the world is the essential reason why Allah blessed the Asiatics of the Americas with a Prophet in this era of time. How we see ourselves and those that are against us is what’s important in analyzing our condition and plight today. The Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali resurrected our cultural identity, collective personality, and our right to define ourselves.

In the Quran of Mecca, Surah 11:120, the precedence is given for the study of history as a genuine social science from the words of Allah.

Verily, I narrate to you some of the tidings of the messengers in order to make it firmly established in your mind, that you may bring from this Truth clear lessons and reminders to those who believe.”

The scholars take the concept “the tidings of the messengers” as a clear license for the study of history as a form of individual and social transformation. Allah also says in the Quran of Mecca, Surah 12:111: “There is certainly in their chronicles a lesson for those of understanding.”

We take pride in studying the traditions and customs of our forefathers and see its importance. Not only in studying them but to also make them a part of every part of our entire being. In the Koran Questions for Moorish American Children, The Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali stresses this continuity in #41. ”What is the Everlasting Gospel? It is a saving power that comes from ALLAH through our Ancient Fathers, by His Prophet”.

Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) once said, ”Learn from your lineage that which will connect you with your family heritage.” So, What is our lineage? The Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali (PBUH) teaches us that our dominion and inhabitation extended from North-East Africa and South-West Africa, across the great Atlantis even unto the present North, South and Central America and also Mexico and the Atlantis Islands; before the great earthquake, which caused the great Atlantic Ocean. The Prophet Noble Drew Ali also tells us in Chapter 48:5 of the Moorish Koran: ”That the world may hear and know the truth, that among the descendants of Africa there is still much wisdom to be learned in these days for the redemption of the Sons of Men under Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice.”

A poem is taken from a 15th century Timbuktu scholar and it describes the deep psychological trauma a people faces when they lack knowledge of self:

“Whoever does not inform his children of his grandparents has destroyed his child, marred his descendants, and injured his offspring the day he dies.
Whoever does not make use of his ancestry, has muddled his reason.
Whoever is unconcerned with his lineage, has lost his mind.
Whoever neglects his origin, his stupidity has become critical.
Whoever is unaware of his ancestry his incompetence has become immense.
Whoever is ignorant of his roots his intellect has vanished.
Whoever does not know his place of origin, his honour has collapsed”.

We, Moorish Americans, are a synthesis (mixture) of our African (Moorish) heritage and our American (Continental) experience. When the Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali informs us that “we are Moorish Americans because we are descendants of Moroccans and born in America”, we have to look at it from both a restrictive and non-restrictive sense.

In the restrictive sense, Moroccans refer to the present day nationals of Morocco and their immediate descendants. That is because nations have evolved to the idea of the modern “nation-state”.

However, the term Moroccans, as used by Moorish Americans, is used in an ancient (non-restrictive) sense. In this context, it refers to that conglomeration of African tribes inhabiting the North-western and South-western shores of Africa (i.e. the ancient Moabites, Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites who sojourned from the land of Canaan and were given permission from the Pharaohs of Egypt to settle and inhabit northwestern and southwestern Africa, before the earthquake that caused the Atlantic Ocean). Their legacy extends to modern nationalities and tribes like the Ibo, Ewe, Yoruba, Ashanti, Mandingo, Wolof, Fulani, Hausa, Sanhaja, etc.). Interestingly enough, the oldest remains of anatomically modern human beings on earth was found in Morocco.
